What does getting dental implants involve?

The process of getting implants requires a series of visits over several months depending on case complexity.

Precise imaging and digital pictures / scans (no more impression materials in the mouth) of your teeth and surrounding supporting structures are taken at the consultation appointment.  Customized treatment plans are then generated and presented to you.   Once the treatment plan is accepted, precise planning and placement are completed giving you a dental implant that is in its most ideal location both functionally and esthetically.

After approximately 3-4 months of healing the artificial teeth are made and fitted to the implant anchor.

You will receive care instructions when your treatment is completed.  Good oral hygiene, eating habits, and regular dental visits will aid in the life of your new implant.
