James C. Papp, DMD


Dr. James Papp, a Grand Rapids native, graduated from the College of Wooster with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1991. He received his D.M.D. degree from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 1995 and then completed his certificate in Periodontics at The University of Michigan in 1998.

Dr. Papp went on to practice for five years at one of the leading periodontal and dental implant practices in the Chicago-land area.  In December 2003, Dr. Papp returned to his hometown, Grand Rapids, Michigan to open his private practice.  Since then, he has expanded to serving the Grandville area as well.  Dr. Papp frequently speaks with the dental community offering continuing education on the benefits of Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF), Implant Dentistry, Dental Laser surgery as well as oral esthetic hard and soft tissue reconstruction.

Dr. Papp is past President of the Kent County Dental Society. Currently serving his 8th year on West Michigan District Dental Society Board and serves as a delegate to the Michigan Dental Association. He is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, active and certified member of the Academy of Laser Dentistry, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the Midwest Periodontal Society, the American Dental Association, the American Association of Dental Research, and the American Society of Forensic Odontology.
